Emilie Hetland is a Norwegian born, Irish trained actress, writer and artist based in London, Dublin and Oslo. She graduated from The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2015 leaving with a BA in Acting (1st Class Hons Degree) and a native Irish accent. She has worked for institutions/companies like The Abbey Theatre, BBC, A24 Films and Rogaland Theatre.
Hetland is a versatile actress with keen interest in physical work, martial arts and dance. She’s artistic director of Volya Theatre and has created and starred in five different shows over the last few years in English and Norwegian alongside film and television work.
